The Fibonacci sequence, also known as the Golden section sequence, was introduced by mathematician Leonardo Fibonacci with the example of rabbit reproduction, and is also known as the "rabbit sequence".

In the movie <Nymphomaniac>, the Fibonacci sequence is a thread running through the movie. The structure of the Fibonacci sequence is consistent with the heroine Joe's sexual experience and her understanding of the patterns of her behavior.

The hero uses the Fibonacci pattern of "3+5=8" to describe Joe's first sexual experience ("Three in the front and five in the back"). Once we have the full picture of the story, we can see the pattern and meaning of the Fibonacci sequence. This applies to all of Joe's sexual experiences, from her first encounter with the biker boy to the end of the film where her high ends and she stops having sex.

Sex is like mathematics, art and beauty, it is natural and true.
